MODULE 3: TEAMWORK
THE CREW SCOUTING REPORT
A great supervisor doesn't hire five versions of the exact same person. To build a successful business, a boss needs a crew with different operational styles. Read the four primary workplace styles below.
The Processor: Organized, logical, and hyper-focused on the rules. They love stable routines, keep a neat workspace, and will work on a repetitive task until it is 100% finished.
The Trap: They can get stuck in "analysis paralysis" and struggle to make quick decisions without an instruction manual.
The Builder: A natural leader who is competitive, confident, and goal-oriented. They look at the big, long-term picture and love executing major plans.
The Trap: They are so focused on winning the game that they frequently forget the minor details or skip the small steps.
The Connector: Highly social, communicative, and perceptive. They focus completely on team harmony, listen well, and make sure everyone on the crew is getting along during a tough shift.
The Trap: They absolutely hate conflict and struggle to make tough, unpopular decisions when things get stressful.
The Innovator: Brave, curious, and always looking for new ways to grow or change. They love trying completely new methods and asking questions no one else is asking.
The Trap: They hate rigid structure, get bored easily, and their workspace usually looks like a complete disaster.
The Strategy Check:
1. Fill in the blank: If your boss is a Builder who only cares about the big picture and forgets the details, they are going to desperately rely on a teammate who operates like a Processor.
2. Fill in the blank: If two Connectors are running a shift and trying too hard to make everyone happy, they might need an Innovator to step in, try something completely new, and make a firm decision to get the job done.
